Pianist Dr. Xiaoxi Guo was born in Chengdu, China. She graduated from Manhattan School of Music with the Doctor Degree of Musical Arts in piano performance in 2018. During her doctoral studies, Xiaoxi Guo was a doctoral fellowship recipient and has taught the required piano classes and the elective piano lessons for the undergrad and graduate students at Manhattan School of Music.
Dr. Guo is the artistic director of HK Elite Music World. She has beeninvited to serve as a guest expert of Sichuan Polus International College and the director of the Art Committee of Zhuo Zhi Education Group. She has been invited to gave public lectures to over 800 music students and teachers and they were well-received. She has been invited to serve as the music director and executive deputy director of the musical "Panda Fairy Tale" produced at the opening ceremony of the Danish Giant Panda Museum and the China-Danish Cultural Exchange Week hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.
Dr.Guo is also the judge of many piano competitions, such as the firstGreater Bay area international piano competition, the Hong Kong Division of the UK Purcell International Youth Piano Competition, the charity competition "Me and Lang Lang" in Chengdu, the Hong Kong Division of the Bonn International Classical Piano Competition in Germany, the final round of the 4th Singapore International Music Festival, the final round of 3rd U-Play Piano Competition and Sichuan region of Oceania International Youth Piano Competition. She was invited to give a benefit masterclass for the Lianyungang Ruisheng Charity Foundation and to taught at the 4th Jiyin Master Class in Shanghai.
Dr.Guo is also the founder of the New York Youth Elite ArtistInternational Music Festival and the Heart to Music charity music event. Dr.Guo has been invited to perform in many cities in China and United. And she has been featured in mainstream media several times. As an outstanding representative of returnees, she was interviewed by”Overseas Students,” the official magazine of Western Returned Students'Club, to share her learning insights and study experience; her benefit masterclass was featured by the People's Information Network and Lianyungang Daily. Her interview by Olive classical music magazine was included in the book named "How to Fall in Love with Playing the Piano"; she was also interviewed by the Go Chengdu website and Chengdu Daily.
