Shiqi Luo is an outstanding violinist and chamber musician in the contemporary classical music scene, renowned for her expressive performances and extraordinary technical ability that captivate audiences worldwide. She is the founder of the Sunway Music Foundation, where she contributes her passion to the field of classical music education, especially in Mongolian classical music. As the concertmaster, she has also showcased her talent with the American Asian Cultural Symphony Orchestra.

In 2018, she was invited to perform at the France Alpe International Music Festival and the Beijing International Music Festival. In the same year, she performed at the United Nations Health Industry Summit. As a rising star in Ningbo's classical music scene, she performed at the "Homecoming" concert. In 2020, she collaborated with renowned vocalist Rastun Loppak at Columbia University Music Hall to perform contemporary alto violin works by young composer Lou Keyin, including "Two Poems of Li Bai."
In 2022, invited by the Bright Bee Academy, she held a Midsummer Night's Dream concert for children in New Jersey and performed at a Mid-Autumn Festival concert. She also collaborated with the Lincoln Center American Asian Cultural Symphony Orchestra and was invited by the American Classical Musicians and Artists Association to perform Mozart’s Fifth Violin Concerto in October. In 2023, she was invited again by the American Classical Musicians Association to perform Beethoven's Fifth Violin Sonata "Spring." Later in the same year, she performed at Carnegie Hall in September and November. In 2024, she completed the Sunway Young Artist Series, presenting four solo concerts based on the four seasons. In 2025, she will begin a tour of the United States and China.
Shiqi Luo began studying the violin at the age of four and later attended the Shanghai Conservatory of Music's affiliated primary school and secondary professional music school. Under the guidance of renowned violinist and educator Li Na, she blossomed as a young musician. At the age of 11, she performed "The Butterfly Lovers" at the Shanghai Grand Theatre alongside famous violinists Yu Lina, Wang Zhijiong, and Huang Mengla. Throughout her education, she received numerous honors, including the People's Scholarship and Tang Scholarship. Her live recording of Grieg's Third Violin Sonata was included in the Shanghai Conservatory of Music's 50th-anniversary commemorative album, and she regularly performed at the Shanghai Concert Hall’s weekly broadcasts.
In 2014, Shiqi Luo was awarded a scholarship to study at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City, where she studied under contemporary violin masters Lucy Robert and Mark Isaacs. She graduated in 2021 with a Master of Classical Violin Performance and a Professional Studies Certificate from the Manhattan School of Music. In 2022, she began pursuing a Master’s in Arts Management at New York University.
In recent years, Shiqi Luo has been active on the global music stage. In 2023, she founded the Sunway Music Foundation to discover and nurture future young musicians, advocate for cutting-edge music education, and foster young audiences through live music experiences.
